Alternatively, laser engraved packaging comes with its own challenges. The lasers I designed for recognized black (K) values of K100-K50 at intervals of ten. I only had the ability to create depth and contrast by using 5 different K shades, while maintaining the integrity of any existing branding materials.

Along with my work for Rosa, Peep, and Dog House Candles, I have varied experience in different types of product packaging. For these packaging products I often had to create patterns that fit the theme of the brief. The "Thank You" campaign I worked on for NOMS Bake Shop is a good example of different design styles and patterns I've been able to create. I used a combination of typography and pictographs to achieve the desired theme.
